Voice Over Acting Master Class: Audiobook Narration

with CJ Critt

Calendar Aug 9, 2022

From Hollywood stars to first time voice pros, the world of audio books is waiting for excellent storytellers, golden voices, and those with the knack of effectively channeling the authors voice and imagined world--with only the written word, their voice, and the microphone.

Is it magic? Not quite, but having the skills to create a world of characters out loud, illuminate what’s on the page and serve up excellent audio can be learned and experienced, and that’s where a master class introduction comes into play. Get an overview of what it takes to become the voice of an author. Learn the secret of Narrator Neutral, find your Signature Voice, create a world of characters, and read skillfully, with a sense of flow, like the story is unfolding, ‘right now’ and discover the tone and pacing and joy in sharing stories and words out loud.

Real world audition scripts and sample reads, with creative exercises to clear out the vocal cobwebs and begin creating character voices, to learning where first time narrators go to share their work and get opportunities.

$40* | Tuesday, August 9 | 6:00 - 8:00 PM | ONLINE | 16+ | CJ Critt
