Acting Training for 6th-12th Grade

Have you ever wanted to expand your acting skills beyond modern plays and musicals? In this class, we will explore a sampling of theatrical styles. Have fun learning the masks of the Greeks, the physical comedy of Commedia, and the powerful language of Shakespeare. Grow your repertoire. Develop new vocal and physical skills. Gain an appreciation for your own artistic lineage and a better sense of where your craft originates. This class is a unique opportunity for young theatre artists to train with a master of these historical styles. It is limited to 10 students.

Sunday April 2 & 16 6:00-8:30pm | 9th-11th Graders
In this 2-workshop series, students get guidance on how to best prepare for the college audition process. Students will learn how to create the ideal rep book, and then have that assessed and customized based on your skills and needs. They will be taught 2 college-level dance calls from the most recent college audition season. The second workshop concludes with a Q&A illuminating the college audition process; parents welcome.
Limited to 10 students. This is a unique opportunity to receive personal mentorship with a pair of cclaimed musical theatre professionals and masterful educators. Learn more about them here.
